Four picked for ambulance board

Lincoln County commissioners this week appointed four members to the 522 Ambulance Service District Board with two more to be appointed at their next meeting.

District 1 Commissioner Will Fine had his two appointments ready as did District 2 Commissioner Marlon Miller. They were approved by commissioners.

Fine’s two appointments are Harold Pumford from the Prague area and Clara Hodgens from the Stroud area.

Miller’s two appointments include Andrew Johnson and Brian Christy.

District 3 Commissioner Lee Doolen, who is chairman of the commission, is expected to have his two appointments ready for a special meeting scheduled next Monday, April 28 at 9 a.m.

Each commissioner is appointing two people to the seven-member board. The six appointees will then meet and recommend to the county commissioners a seventh person to be appointed to the board. Commissioners also approved a quote for a five-year contract between Motorola Solutions and the Sheriff’s Department for body cameras and iCloud servivces.

They approved an Account set-up for Inmate transfer during the jail renovation.

In other business, the commissioners: Approved letting bids for Commissary services in the Sheriff’s Office.

Approved letting bids for Food Service for the Lincoln County Jail.

Approved a transfer of appropriations for District 2.

Approved an Oil and Gas contract with TASC and the Assessor’s Office.

Approved an OCCEDB Solid Waste request form for Districts 1, 2 and 3.

Approved amended donation resolutions for District 3.

Held off doing anything on flower bed upkeep on the Courthouse lawn. County Clerk Alicia Wagnon informed commissioners she was not ready to discuss that yet but would be at their next meeting.

Approved the Purchase Card Payment Approval form.
