Stroud pummeled the Luther Lions last week, winning 58-0, and racking up the fourth unbeaten regular season in the school’s history.
The Tigers’ only close game this season was the opener against ancient rival, Chandler, which they won, 21-14.
Since then, they’ve won every game by at least three touchdowns and have allowed only seven points in their last three games.
“It’s awesome,” said head coach Josh Presley. “It’s an amazing accomplishment for the team. All their hard work - I’m proud of them and the assistant coaches.”
The last Stroud team to go 10-0 was the 2011 version.
“We always take it a week at a time,” he said. “Never get too high and never get too low.
“Now it’s playoff time, so it always ramps up.
“We’ll prepare our best for every opponent. Never take anyone lightly because it’s win or go home.”
Presley said the town of Stroud is stoked about the season and the coming playoffs.
“You can’t beat this time of year,” he said. “It’s a good time to be a Stroud Tiger. Everyone is pumped.”
