Week of April 19-26 Carney

For the week: 4-1. Wins against Frontier (7-3 and 10-9) and Wilson (11-3). Loss to Roff (16-5).

The Bulldogs scored three runs in the top of the ninth against Frontier in the money game of the district tournament. The winning run came when Garrett Webb stole home as part of a double steal.

Remington Martin led the Carney offense with three hits, two runs scored and an RBI and got the pitching win in relief, throwing the seventh inning and striking out the side.

Lane Ramsey sparked the offense against Wilson with a double, a single and three RBI. Remington Martin had three hits and scored three runs and James Martin had a pair of RBI.

Ramsey clouted a home run in the district opener against Frontier and Heston Welch got the pitching win, going the first six innings and scattering eight hits.

Chandler

For the week: 2-2. Wins over Kellyville(2-1) and Wellston (19-1). Losses to Kellyville (12-0) and Mount St. Mary (12-6).

Landon Earp singled to score Garrett Garner in the bottom of the sixth to deliver the 2-1 win over Kellyville on Tuesday. The Lions had tied the score earlier in the inning when Maddox Metheny scored on a wild pitch.

Bryson Taylor got the pitching win on a 6-hitter. He struck out five and walked only two.

Against Wellston, the Lions had seven hits, but picked up 13 walks and had four batters hit by pitches. Christian Goeller, Metheny, Mason Murray and Ridley Bendele had two RBI each.

Taylor had three hits and Goeller and Sawyer Sims had doubles in the loss to Mount St. Mary.

Dale

For the week: 5-0. Wins over Preston (101), Dewar (6-2), Cashion (5-3), Vian (12-0) and Christian Heritage (7-2).

Wyatt Seeley homered to pace the Pirates past Dewar on Tuesday and A.J. Carpenter, Carver Crowson, Chase Harris, Elvis Edwards and Hunter Watkins went yard on Friday against Cashion.

Edwards dominated on the mound, striking out 22 batters in 12 innings pitched and getting the wins against Christian Heritage and Preston.

Davenport

For the week: 0-3. Losses to OKC Broncos (11-1), Stroud (4-1) and Bristow (5-4).

Runs were hard to come by for the Bulldogs last week.

Against Bristow, they led until the seventh inning when the Pirates put across three runs for the win. Brody Robinson and Chase Mitchell had two hits each in the game and Laken Durbin had a triple.

McLoud:

For the week: 2-0. Wins over Star Spencer (23-1 and 12-0).

The Redskins jumped all over Star Spencer’s pitching.

In the first game, Parker Ryan had three hits and five RBI and Jordan Perry had four RBI. Chase Bane, Eli Raines and Perry all scored three times.

In the nightcap, Brayden Smith had a triple and scored three runs, and Justus Rooker had three RBI.

Ryan got the pitching win, striking out all nine batters he faced.

Meeker For the week: 2-3. Wins over Kellyville (9-8) and Morris (5-2). Losses to Dewar (9-1), Morrison (65) and Henryetta (8-5).

The Bulldogs exploded for five runs in the sixth inning to take the win against Kellyville on Thursday.

Daythan Lawson and Maverick Herring had doubles and Castin Schafer had three RBI. Jason Key, Lawson and Titus Grimes had two hits each.

Meeker converted five hits into five runs against Morris, with Herring hitting another double.

Schafer got the pitching win, going seven innings and allowing just four hits and one earned run. He struck out six.

Herring homered in the loss to Morrison and he and Schafer had two RBI each.

Herring also went deep against Henryetta and Bryston Bizzell and Bryce Bussell had doubles.

North Rock Creek For the week: 0-4. Losses to Byng (5-1 and 8-7) and Newcastle (11-3 and 10-0).

Jace Plumb was 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI in the 8-7 loss to Byng and Hunter Bertram was 3-for-3 and scored three runs.

Prague

For the week: 3-0. Wins over Okmulgee (9-1 and 20-0) and Del City (8-0).

Hayden Kinslow went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI in the first game against Okmulgee and Clay LaValley scored three runs. Kinslow tripled in the second game and scored three runs. Kolton Yeager and Colt Thomas had two hits each.

Stroud

For the week: 3-0. Wins over Pawhuska (40), Davenport (4-1) and Pawnee (10-0).

Stryker Bray struck out 15 and allowed only one hit in the win over Davenport. Jessen Leathers and Jeremiah Cropp had two hits each.

The Tigers turned seven hits and eight walks into 10 runs against Pawnee. Cropp had a single, walked twice, scored two times and had two RBI.

Gideon Smalley, Brayden Davis and Leelyn Neuman combined for four innings of hitless pitching. Smalley struck out five.

Gage Bailey, Davis and Bray had doubles against Pawhuska and Bailey had two RBI.

Wellston

For the week: 2-1. Wins over Allen (7-6 ad 18-7). Loss to Mulhall-Orlando (8-6).

Chase Baldwin singled in Justin Kelley in the bottom of the sixth with what proved to be the winning run in the first game against Allen on Wednesday. Baldwin had three RBI on the day.

Rhett O’Day got the pitching win, going seven innings and allowing five hits and three earned runs.
