Chandler and Stroud won the 66 Conference softball and baseball tournamenrts, respectiveliy, last week The Lady Lions defended the championship they won last year by coming through the consolation bracket and beating McLoud, 10-2 and 7-6, in the championship round.
Chandler was 13-5 and ranked No. 7 in the state in Class 5A after the tournament.
Stroud beat Chandler, 14-4, to win the baseball tournament. The Tigers were 17-5 going into Tuesday’s game against Dewar.
