Dale School Supt. Will Jones informed Board of Education members this week, “We’re in a good financial position overall,” as he reviewed current and past figures.
He pointed to total operating funds through September of this year including General, Building and County Sales Tax from Fiscal Year 23 through FY 25.
Fiscal Year 23 was $803,419, FY 24 was $1,876,250 and FY 25 is $1,959,910.
As part of his superintendent’s report, Jones went over the financial report which board members later confrrmed.
Warrants through September of 2025 are $1,743,067. Through September of 2024 they were $1,438,945. Jones noted the warrants were up some due to the technology investment that has been made.
The Building Fund Cash Balance through September of 2025 is $657,221 and in September of 2024 it was $390,550.
General Funeral Cash Balance in September of 2025 was $984,822 and in September of 2024 was $1,316,661, $331,839 less than a year ago.
State aid through September of 2025 is $793,061 compared with $755,073 in September of 2024, an increase of $39,988. “It’s up just a bit,” Jones noted.
County Sales Tax Balance in September of 2025 is $317,867 and in September of 2024 it was $169,039 up $148,828 from a year ago.
September County sales tax revenue was $35,068.
The County Donation Fund in 2025 is $83,232 compared to $$69,740 in 2024.
