Carney
- For the week: 2-4. Wins over Wellston (5-4),Glencoe (4-3). Losses Covington-Douglas (1-10), Waukomis (1-11), Pioneer (4-6), Dover (4-9). Now 10-8 for the season.
Gracie Hernandez singled in Alexa Ward with the winning run in the bottom of the sixth in the Monday win over Wellston. Hernandez had three hits and scored two runs to go with her RBI. Italy Ventris got the win in the circle, giving up six hits and two earned runs.
On Tuesday, Hernandez drew a base-loaded walk to force in Raneigh Johnson with the winning run against Glencoe.
Glencoe led 3-0 after an inning, but Ashtyn Stokes bounced a triple off the wall in left-center in the fifth inning to score Emmalynn Drake with the tying run.
Macy Hubach had a double and single and three RBI against Pioneer on Saturday at the Dover Festival. Drake had a triple and single and scored two runs in the loss to Dover. Stokes doubled and knocked in a run.
Chandler
-For the week, 5-1. Wins over Sperry (10-1), Kiefer (2-0), Ft. Gibson JV (16-5). Haskell (6-5), Red Oak (20). Loss to Warner (0-3). Now 20-2 for the season and 6-0 in district..
Gentry Garner poled a 2-run homer, Ruthie Capps had two doubles and two singles, Elli Hilgenfeld had a triple and Brenlee Corea had three hits in the win over Sperry. Kennedy Allen picked up the pitching win, scattering three hits and striking out eight.
Kennedy was back in the circle on Tuesday as Chandler beat Kiefer 2-0 to take sole possession of first place in District 3A-5. She gave up just two hits and struck out 13.
Allen and Ruthie Capps drove in the runs for Chandler. Corea and Halle Herrmann had triples against Ft. Gibson JV, Ruthie Capps had a pair of doubles and Halle Herrmann had a two-bagger.
Allen had walk-off doubles to end the games against Haskell and Red Oak.
Against Haskell, she had four RBI, including two in the bottom of the fifth, when she doubled home Blaklei Smith and Corea. She broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the fifth against Red Oak when she doubled home Smith and Corea again.
Dale
- For the week: 6-1. Wins over Luther (11-1) and Meeker (14-0 and 4-0, Plainview (9-1). Loss to Silo (12) Now 22-2 for the season and 5-0 in district.
Khloe Jones had a triple, a single and three RBI against Luther. Maxtyn Motley got the pitching win, giving up three hits in four innings and not allowing an earned run.
Brooke Sheline led the DLPs in the first game against Meeker, hitting a home run and single and knocking in four. Kinley Patten had a triple and four RBI.
Motley threw a seven-inning shutout and struck out eight in the second game.
Reese Herring had a triple, two hits and an RBI against Plainview. Sheline and Kelbey Welcher had two hits each against Silo.
The DLPs got back-to-back shutouts against Leedey and Roff. Boo Herber four-hit Leedey and Motley fashioned a three-hitter against the Lady Tigers.
Jones had the game-winning against Leedey and a trio of singles against Roff.
Davenport
- For the week: 4-1. Wins over Oilton (2-1), Kellyville (5-4), Beggs (19-3), Inola (2-1). Loss to Preston (0-5). Now 18-4 for the season.
Freshman Autumn Gaylord singled in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth to push the Lady Bulldogs past Oilton. Both teams scored a run in the first inning, but it was nothing but zeroes after that until Caden Blair doubled in the ninth and eventually scored on Gaylord’s hit. Gabby Murfin got the win in the circle, scattering eight hits.
Blair had three hits and three RBI to pace the offense against Kellyville. Murfin got the win in the circle.
Landry Miller and Charlie Adams scored three times each in the romp over Beggs.
McLoud
For the week: 1-1. Wins over Mannford (7-1). Loss to Tecumseh(2-4). Now 17-7 for the season and 2-4 in district.
Kayse Higdon tripled with the bases load in the fifth inning to lead McLoud past Mannford in a district win. Lexy Patterson threw seven innings of three-hit ball to get the pitching decision.
Makenzie Lane drove in both runs in the loss to Tecumseh.
Meeker
For the week: 1-2. Win over Okemah (8-4). Losses to Dale (0-13 and 0-4). Now 6-9 for the season and 0-5 in district.
Raygin Thomas had a pair of hits and three RBI against Okemah, Brynlee Gatz was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI and Hazel Wahpepah added two hits. Thomas, Wahpepah and Rylee Standlee had doubles.
Macy Jones got the win in the circle, scattering seven hits and giving up three earned runs.
North Rock Creek
For the week: 2-1. Wins over Cleveland (10-9 and 111). Loss to Mannford (2-8). Now 18-4 for the season and 6-1 in district.
The Lady Cougars took their first district loss on Monday against Mannford, but bounced back with a win on Tuesday over Cleveland and another on Thursday..
Aubree Shivelhood had a two-run homer, Ashlyn Bade had two doubles and two RBI in the first game against Cleveland.
Sophie Morris put on a hitting clinic in the Thursday game against Cleveland, going four 4-for-4 and driving in two runs. Morgan Betram came through for two singles and three RBI and Bade had three this and scored two runs.
Prague
For the week: 5-1. Wins over Henryetta (13-5), Harrah (5-4), Crooked Oak (twice by forfeit) and Atoka (8-7). Loss to Bethel (1-11). Now 11-10 for the season and 3-2 in district.
The Lady Devils unleashed a flurry of home runs against Henryetta. Emma Hinkle, Jaxcyn Goodnight and Taelyr Norman all had long balls and Ainsley Auld, Kacey Cantrell and Keira Carter added doubles.
Auld led the offense against Harrah, going 3-for-3, scoring twice and driving in a run. Senior first baseman Cantrell drove in the winning run with a double in the bottom of the fourth.
Maddie Roberts singled to drive in Auld with the winning run in the fifth inning against Atoka. Auld was big at the plate again, going 3-for-4 and Roberts and Cantrell had two hits each.
Stroud
For the week: 1-2. Win over Tonkawa (12-8). Losses to Oilton (8-15) and Wellston (6-8). Now 4-16 for the season and 1-3 in district.
The Lady Tigers banged out 11 hits, but couldn’t overcome a 12-1 Oilton lead. Peyton Davis had two hits and scored three times. Carlee Williams, Miyah Clark, Sally Campbell and Brynleigh Bell collected two hits each.
Clark and Miller had three more hits apiece against Tonkawa. Miller had three hits and two RBI and Williams had two hits and drove in a pair Clark had four hits and four RBI in the loss to Wellston while Davis had three hits.
Davis, Clark and Miller were torrid for the week, combing to go 22-for-35. Clark led the way with 9-for-12, Davis was 7-for-11 and Miller was 6-for-12.
Wellston
For the week: 3-2. Wins over Mulhall-Orlando (201 and 12-1), Stroud (8-6). Losses to Carney (4-5) and Luther (4-11). Now 7-3 for the season.
It was a hit parade for the WLTs against Mulhall-Orlando. They cracked 19 in the first game, with Alexis Fowble getting four, Audrey Fish three and Savanah Gaylord, Callie Mathews and Emma Hash two apieice. Fowble had a double and a triple.
Mathews, Hash and Kamber Goodman had doubles and Brookelynn Terrell and Kirby McConnell had triples.
There were 13 safeties in the second game, with Goodman, Fish, Mathews and Fowble getting two each. Fish had a homer, Terrell and Chloe Brewer and Goodman had triples and Fish, Fowble, Goodman and McConnell had doubles.
Mathews had two hits, two stolen bases and scored a run against Luther. Goodnight, Mathews and Hash had a pair of hits.
