Week of Sep. 7-12 Carney
For the week: 1-2. Win over Glencoe (4-3). Losses to Henryetta (13-4) and Okemah (7-6). Record:8-11.
Bre Neal stroked a double to drive in Chloe Freeman and Sara Kirkpatrick in the bottom of the sixth to pace the win over Glencoe.
EmmaLynn Drake had a triple and single and Kirkpatrick scored two runs.
Gracie Hernandez got the win in the circle, throwing seven innings and scattering six hits.
Drake had another double against Okemah and Ashtyn Stokes had a pair of singles.
Chandler
For the week: 3-3. Wins over Fort Gibson JV (6-1), Haskell (8-5) and Sperry (15-4). Losses to Kiefer (6-1), Oktaha (7-1) and Bethel (13-0). Record:21-11. District record: 6-1.
Marlee Buys homered and drove in four runs in Chandler’s district win over Sperry on Saturday.
Addie Miller had a double and single and drove in two runs. Brenlee Corea singled, drew three walks and scored three runs.
Blaklei Smith homered in the second inning for the Lady Lions’ run in the loss to Oktaha on Thursday.
Miller and Buys had doubles in the win over Haskell and Elli Hilgenfeld drove in three runs.
Dale
For the week: 6-0. Wins over Meeker (7-0 and 7-0),Shawnee (3-2), Roff (10-7), Oilton (11-1) and Amber-Pocasset (5-2). Record: 24-3. District record: 6-0.
Salem Flatt singled to drive in pinch-runner Lainey Wilson in the bottom of the fifth to secure the comefrom-behind win over Shawnee.
Maycee Welcher had tied the game with a homer earlier in the inning.
Adalyn Quigley got the win in the circle, allowing six hits in five innings but only one earned run.
Welcher and Flatt stroked home runs in the win over Roff and Jaycee Smith and Taelyr Norman had tripled.
In the Oilton game, Khloe Jones had two doubles, Breeze Higdon, Brooke Sheline and Flatt had doubles and Sheline tripled.
Jones knocked in four runs. Holland Herring scored twice in the win against Am-Po and Sheline and Welcher doubled. Quigley got the pitch win, striking out five in seven innings while allowing five hits and one earned run.
Davenport
For the week: 2-0. Wins over Ripley (5-4) and Kellyville (9-0). Record: 16-8. Ranked No. 16 in Class A.
Charlie Adams drew a walk to score Nevah Ray in the bottom of the seventh in the come-from-behind win against Ripley.
Gracie Moore got the win in the circle against Kellyville. She allowed just one hit while striking out 10. Caden Blair and Kodi Vick belted doubles and Blair and Moore drove in two runs apiece.
Autumn Gaylord and Moore drove in two runs apiece agianst Oilton and Vick scored twice.
McLoud
For the week: 4-2. Wins over Berryhill (3-2), Latta (64), Jones (13-0) and Harrah (7-0). Losses to Cashion (6-3) and Vanoss (3-2). Record: 21-7. District record: 6-3.
Makenzie Lane drove in two runs and Avery Showard was 3-for-4 with an RBI in the win over Berryhill.
Miley Hicklin, Ella Smith and Lexi Patterson combined for a four-hitter in the circle. Hicklin started, went 4 1/3 innings, striking out nine and allowing two hits.
Soward, Jasci Schafer and Patterson had two RBI each in the win over Latta.
Hickin had a double, two singles and four RBI against Jones on Friday. Soward and Lane added doubles and Soward had three RBI.
Hicklin threw five innings of two-hit ball to set down the Lady Redskins’ rival Harrah on Saturday. She struck out six en route to the shutout.
Macen Fixico had a double and three RBI and Soward had two hits and two RBI.
North Rock Creek
For the week: 2-1. Wins over Haskell (4-3) and Claremore (7-3). Loss to Mannford (2-1) Record: 15-5. District record: 4-3.
Madison Benson pitched a strong game in the loss to Mannford, but the Lady Pirates pushed across a run in the bottom of the eighth to win it.
Benson pitched 7 2/3 innings, striking out five while allowing four hits and only one earned run.
K Rodriguez and Aspyn Harder combined for five innings of two-hit ball against Haskell. Rodriguez went four, striking out four and allowing two hits and two earned rungs. Harder finished up, striking out two and not allowing a hit.
Rodriguez had two RBI and Morgan Bertram had a double.
Lead-off batter Jaden Clifton had two hits and two RBI against Claremore, Harder had a double and Ashlyn Bade had two singles and an RBI.
Prague
For the week: 2-2. Wins over Depew (12-0) and Pittsburg (16-2). Losses to Tahlequah (6-1) and Silo (53). Record: 18-10. District record: 7-2.
Jaxcyn Goodnight, Ainsley Auld and Emma Hinkle all doubled and had two RBI each in the win over Depew.
Auld was 2-for-2 and scored twice. Bristol Brown scored twice.
Keira Carter pitched three inning of one-hit ball to get the win in the circle.
Goodnight had two doubles and a single in the loss to Tahlequah. She was 3-for-3.
Auld doubled, singled, scored three times and drove hom three runs against Pittsburg. Dusti Gregory tripled and drove in three runs, Goodnight tripled, scored twice and drove in a run and Maddie Roberts doubled, drove in three runs and scored three times.
Gregory drove in two runs against Bethel and Goodnight had a triple and scored twice.
Stroud
For the week: 2-2. Wins over Hominy (9-3) and Henryetta (12-1). Losses to Newkirk (4-3) andcOkemah (5-4). Record: 13-11. District record: 2-3.
Carlee Williams, Miyah Clark and Kailee Juarez had three hits each in the loss to Newkirk. Williams had a triple and two RBI.
Rylie Hughey had two singles, a double and three RBI in the win over Hominy. Georgia Hulsey tripled and singled three times.
Williams got the win in the circle, pitching seven innings without giving up an earned run.
Hulsey was back with a double and single against Okemah. Juarez had two RBI.
Wellston
For the week: 2-2. Wins over Choteau-Mazie (14-4) and Mulhall-Orlando (14-4). Losses to Inola (13-1) and Beggs (4-3). Record: 8-11.
Kamber Goodman was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI against Mulhall-Orlando. Kirbey McConnell had a double and two RBI and Brooklyn Estes was 2-for-3 with two RBI.
The WLTs stole 10 bases, with Savanah Gaylord getting three, Goodman two, McConnell 2, Audrey Fish two and Callie Hull one.
Goodman and McConnell each had two hits against Beggs.
Goodman swunga big stick against Choteau-Mazie, getting a triple and double and four RBI.
