It was more of the same last week for the area’s three remaining unbeaten basketball teams.
Wellston’s girls moved to 18-0 with a victories over Crescent and Mulhall-Orlando, which was ranked No. 20 in Class B-2. The WLTs are ranked No. 8 in Class A.
They hosted Coyle Tuesday night, then will play in the Glencoe tournament Thursday though Saturday.
McLoud’s fourth-ranked girls went to 13-0 and put away arch-rival Harrah, ranked No. 6, 68-52. The Lady Redskins are back in action Wednesday against Holdenville at the 66 Conference tournament in Stroud. Tipoff is 10 a.m.
North Rock Creek’s fifth-ranked boys powered past Oklahoma Christian School and Bethel to move to 11-0.
They traveled to Harrah Tuesday night, then will play in the Washington tournament starting Thursday.
