Three of five defendants arrested and charged following a robbery at a grow house operation in January have entered guilty blind pleas and are awaiting sentencing.The other two charged at the same time have entered blind guilty pleas and are awaiting sentencing also.

The Lincoln County Commissioners voted to approve the Lincoln County Fairgrounds Tobacco Free Policy at their meeting on Aug. 18, among other items.They also approved the Comprehensive Tobacco-Free and Vape-Free Policies and Checklists.

Chandler approves branding, downtown master plan project

The Chandler City Council voted to adopt new branding standards and launch the downtown master plan project in its regular meeting on Aug. 12.Additionally, Ben Myers was sworn in as councilperson for Ward III after Greg Huffman stepped down because he relocated out of state.
