A Prague man has drawn a 25-year prison term.Formal charges, nine felonies and a misdemeanor,werefiledinLincolnCounty District Court on Feb. 21 against Michael James Benham, 27.In the one case, also a felony, a $5,000 bench warrant also was issued for his arrest.

Child sex case goes to trial

A man from Harrah has been bound over to stand trial on three child-related sex crimes and his arraignment has been set.He was bound over on three counts of lewd acts with a child under 16. His arraignment is scheduled for 9 a.m. Aug. 19, 2025.

Lincoln Co. commissioners open bids for roof project

Lincoln County commissioners this week approved raises for 911 Co-supervisors, entered into a joint discussion with the 911 Trust Authority Board and opened bids for the Lincoln County Fair Barn reroof.They also appointed the seventh member to the 522 Ambulance District Board.
