Remembering dogs

Pets have been a part of my life since I can remember. We got our first dog when I was a third grader. Even before that, when I lived part of the time with my grandparents on my mother’s side, they had a dog.

The Bugle Boy will soon be blowing his horn to honor our veterans. The sound system should be in place in time to pay homage to our veterans on Veteran’s Day. Reveille and taps are two of the songs that he will play. Town Talk is pleased to complete this project for our community.

Last weekend we (the wife Pat and I) kept our grandson Liam. It was the first time in nearly two months and he had turned 5 since then. We saw him over the Labor Day weekend right after his birthday, but it’s always a privilege and pleasure to have him for a couple of nights.
