Helen Arrington led our church services again Sunday with a devotional entitled “Prayer.” Prayer is the act that seeks a rapport with God wherein we can divine his will for us. She asked for input to involve others. The singing of hymns helped us get in a mood for worship.

It started back in the early summer when I needed to take the deck off my mower. That’s a simple process, but I am always nervous that Part A has to come off before you can unhook Part B or something. So to check myself, I watched a couple of Youtube videos.

It was exciting to see the new digital sign installed at the Main Street Pavilion. Town Talk began discussing and working towards a digital sign from our very first meeting.

Letters to the editor

The Lincoln County Commissioners are asking for help from the public. Please report anyone stealing, defacing, or pushing over stop signs. While the expense of replacing them is about $44 plus labor, it can’t begin to compare with a life or lives lost because a stop sign was missing.
