Last Saturday was Sept. 12. If my father were still alive, he would have celebrated his 97th birthday. His mother, my grandmother, turned 97 years old a little over a month before she passed away.

Things are happening at the Skyliner Motel. If you haven’t driven by lately, you need to take a look. There is a new buggy on display outside the front of the motel. I’m sure there’s some interesting history associated with it.
