New outdoor warning siren installed in Meeker

A new high-powered outdoor warning siren was installed near the Meeker Police Station and Meeker Fire Station No. 2 on July 24, improving public safety for residents and reducing risk to firefighters during severe weather.

Two men arrested for burglary in Davenport

Burglary charges were filed against two men for an incident in Davenport in mid-July.District Attorney Adam Panter filed one felony count of burglary in the second degree against Raymond George, 60, and Gregory Cobbs, 65, on July 30, according to court documents.
