McMullan signs to play at Oklahoma City

North Rock Creek point guard Noah McMullan signed his letter of intent last week to play basketball at Oklahoma City University. McMullan started four years as the Cougars’ point guard. He is flanked by parents, Tim and Stacy McMullan.

On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, Billy Gene Judd, loving husband and father of three children passed away at the age of 73. Billy was born on April 20, 1949 in Prague Okla. to William Clifford and Mary Judd. He graduated from Meeker High School in May of 1967.

Otho Luther McEntire, 89, of Agra was born May 12, 1932, in Sparks, Okla. He died Tuesday, April 26, 2022, surrounded by family. McEntire, the son of Martin and Vergie (Howard) McEntire, married Grace Wright in Chandler.

Linda Marie Edwards

Linda Marie Edwards was born August 28, 1947 in Fairfield, Ill., to Tom and Delores Denison. She passed away April 28, 2022 in Agra at the age of 74. Linda was a gardener who enjoyed her flowers, as well as being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and Nana to all who knew her.

County Commissioners

Lincoln County commissioners this week authorized preparation of temporary appropriations for Fiscal Year 2022-2023. They approved authorizing the firm of Wilson, Dotson and Associates to handle that as they have for several years.

Dale school board hires personnel for next year

Dale’s Board of Education Monday evening approved temporary appropriations for 2020-2023 and hired several persons for the next school year. One person has submitted her retirement and two other persons are resigning.
