Commission appoints board members

Lincoln County Commissioners this week appointed members to six different boards and approved a purchase contract for a tractor and mower.

Commissioners reappointed Chairmen Lee Doolen to the Circuit Engineering District No. 4. They reappointed Gary Robinson and Joe Ready as members of the Lincoln County Industrial Development Authority.

District 1 Commissioner Carl Munson was appointed to the Project H.E.A.R.T. Board. Ricky Taylor was appointed as an at-large member.

District 2 Commissioner Marlon Miller was appointed to serve as a nonvoting member of the 911 Trust Authority.

Doolen was reappointed as a board member of the Community Action Agency.

Munson was appointed as a board member to Oklahoma Public Employee Health and Wellness.

They took no action after discussing briefly a credit limit and an estimated number of cards that will be needed for the Purchasing Card program.

Commissioners approved the Commissary/ Inmate Trust Financial report from the Sheriff’s Office.

They also adopted a resolution appointing requesting, receiving, inventory officers for District 2, Meeker Nutrition Site, Prague Nutrition Site and Lincoln County Health Department.

Commissioners approved a purchase contract with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for a 2021 John Deere 6110 M Cab Tractor and Alamo mower in District 1.

They voted to begin the bid process on a motor grader in District 2.

They took no action to begin the lease-purchase process for a John Deere 672G motor grader in District 2 and to schedule a demonstration with Sany Motor Graders.

Commissioners adopted a resolution accepting reimbursement to the Election Board General Fund for COVID-related expenses.

A Declaration of Surplus was approved for the Lincoln County Treasurer’s Office. A resolution also was adopted approving disposing of equipment for the Treasurer’s Office.
