I was somewhat confused when I saw the new map of the Lincoln Co redistricting.
I finally concluded that due to the fact that the portion of Lincoln Co that District 3 “inherited” was due to years of neglect it was the only way District 2 could shed the neglected roads to someone else.
District 2 has been without a good commissioner since Ricky Taylor was voted out. I am in (currently) District 3.
I do think District 3 has a good staff of employees. I still have complaints (on District 3), but I try to understand the limitations they are given. It certainly appears District 3 was sandbagged. James Pruett,
