Billy Lee Alexander was born June 4, 1938, in Thomas, Oklahoma, to Bill and Elizabeth Alexander. He passed away in the early hours of Friday morning, August 9, 2024.
Billy was drafted into the Army soon after he graduated high school in 1956, and was stationed in Alaska where he learned to be one of the top sharp shooters on skis and was selected to be right guard for the Honor Guard, guarding our Nation’s Flag. He was honorably discharged and came home where he was soon introduced to his future wife, Darla, by his sister, Joan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother and son-in-law. He leaves behind his wife of nearly 55 years, sister, son and daughter-in-law, daughter, four grandsons, and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Lehman Funeral Home with interment following at Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Midwest City. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
