The spring sports seasons are reaching a climax, with the softball state tournaments and the state track meets this week. Area schools will be well-represented at both events. On Thursday, McLoud takes on Pott County rival Tecumseh at 10 a.m. in the Class 5A slow-pitch state tournament at the Firelake Fields in Shawnee. North Rock Creek plays Woodward at 2:30.
