Carney
- For the week: 2-3. Wins over Casady (5-4) and Putnam City (11-10). Losses to Bethany (0-10), Crossings Christian (18) and Wellston (5-6). Now 8-5 for the season Gracie Hernandez singled in Sara Kirkpatrick with the winning run in the bottom of the fifth against Casady.
The Lady Bulldogs fell behind Putnam City, 10-3, but used a seven-run fourth inning to win.
Against Wellston, Italy Ventris had three hits and three RBI
Chandler
-For the week, 1-0. A win over Kellyville (9-2). Now 14-1 and 4-0 in district.
Ruthie Capps had three hits and Kennedy Allen had three RBI, two of them coming on a second-inning double that made the score 6-0.
Blaklei Smith, Brenlee Corea and Madison Cagle had two hits apiece.
Allen and Georgia Hulsey dominated in the circle. Allen threw two innings of no-hit ball and Hulsey went five, allowing two runs.
Dale
- For the week: 6-1. Wins over Cyril (5-0), Morrison (10-0), Purcell (4-1), Perry (6-0), Lone Grove JV (10-0) and Wilburton (1-0). Loss to Stillwater (02). Now 16-1 for the season and 2-0 in district.
Against Morrison, Kinley Patten went 4-for-4 with three RBI and Kelbey Welcher went 3-for-4 with three RBI. Brooke Sheline added three RBI.
Daley Lang tripled, homered and had two RBI to pace the win over Perry.
Lang clouted another homer against Lone Grove JV The DLPs scored an unearned run in the bottom of the fifth against Wilburton. Khloe Jones had two of the DLPs’ five hits against Wilburton.
Davenport
- For the week: 2-0. Wins over Bristow (8-7) and Depew (12-4). Now 14-4 for the season.
Ashlyn Walker singled in Gabby Murfin with the winning run against Bristow. Murfin went 4-for-4 with two RBI and pitched five innings, giving up two earned runs. Autumn Gaylord picked up the win, throwing two innings of scoreless ball in relief.
The Lady Bulldogs scored 12 runs in the third and fourth innings to key the win over Depew. Gaylord was 3-for-4, Charlie Adams was 3-for-4 with two RBI and Murfin had two RBI.
McLoud
For the week: 4-2. Wins over Jones (8-2), Cushing (7-5), Bridge Creek (20), Amber-Pocasset (9-3), Bethel (3-2). Losses to North Rock Creek (4-14 and 5-15). Now 16-6 for the season and 1-3 in district.
Ella Smith threw a six-inning shutout for the win over Bridge Creek, allowing only three hits and striking out four. Shortstop Kayse Higdon had a pair of hits and second baseman Miley Hicklin had two RBI.
North Rock Creek
For the week: 7-0. Wins over McLoud (14-4), Harrah (3-2), Noble (5-2), Stroud (13-1), Bethel (6-3), Jones (8-1), McLoud (15-5). Now 16-3 for the season and 4-0 in district.
NRC book-ended its week with wins over McLoud, beating the Lady Redskins 14-4 on Tuesday in a district game, and 15-5 on Saturday in the McLoud tournament.
Shortstop Izzy O’Daniel was 3-for-4 with three RBI and scored three runs in the first game. Lainey Joyner was 3-for-5 with three RBI, Aubree Shivelhood drove in three runs and Jaden Clifton homered and drove in two runs.
Against Stroud, O’Daniel was 2-for-3 with three RBI.
Shivelhood had two knocks and scored three runs.
Against Bethel, third baseman Sophie Morris was 3-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI Against Jones, Madison Benson had two knocks and three RBI Prague
For the week: 0-4. Losses to Wilburton (1-2), Purcell (5-6), Stillwater (2-9) and Lone Grove JV( 3-7). Now 8-9 for the season and 2-1 in district.
Prague lost two heart-breakers in the opening rounds of the Dale-Tecumseh tournament, falling in the final inning to Wilburton and Purcell.
Jaxcyn Goodnight gave up only one earned in seven innings in the circle against Wilburton.
Maddie Roberts and Taelyr Norman had two hits each for Prague and Ainsley Auld drove in a run to put the Lady Devils up 1-0 in the fourth.
Prague led 5-3 in the bottom of the fifth against Purcell.
Shortstop Auld had a triple, run scored and an RBI against Stillwater.
Stroud
For the week: 1-6. Win over Noble (43). Losses to Preston (1-17 and 5-16), Bethel (1-10), Harrah (0-10), North Rock Creek (1-13), Bridge Creek (39). Now 3-15 for the season and 0-3 in district.
Miyah Clark doubled to drive in Carlee Williams in the bottom of the fifth to secure the win over Noble.
Clark was 3-for-3 with RBI. Williams had two hits and scored two runs. Lacy Tipton picked up the win in the circle,.
The Lady Tigers took a 3-0 firstinning lead against Bridge Creek when Adalyn Lum singled to drive in Clark and Brylnleigh Bell, but that was the end of their scoring.
Wellston
For the week: 2-1. Wins over Carney (6-5) and Luther (4-0). Loss to Luther (1-6). Now 7-3 for the season.
Savanah Gaylord was 3-for-4 with an RBI against Carney and Kamber Goodman was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI.
Paige Keeling picked up the win the circle .
Goodman had two hits in the loss to Luther and Audrey Fish had two.
In the win, Fish tripled, Goodman doubled, and Kirbey McConnell singled for one RBI each. That was enough support for Tinley Payne, who pitched five innings of shutout ball.
