Gene Tom Curry passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 78 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
He was born on October 24, 1947, to Clarence Conrad “Mex” Curry and Alice Lemieux Curry in Oklahoma City.
Gene was a musician his whole life and received an associate’s degree in electronics, where he spent over 30 years working as an appliance technician in Chandler and the surrounding areas.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Gene is survived by his son, Charles Curry, daughter-in-law Bri Curry, and grandson, Riley Curry, from Coyle, Ok; sister Karen Curry-Peterson and husband Stan Peterson, from Oklahoma City; and sister Helen McCarl and husband Randy McCarl, from Van Wert, Iowa.
A service will be held on February 21 at 1 p.m. at the Central Community Center on 3372 S Boomer Rd,Stillwater, OK.
