Richard Lee “Dick” Grigsby passed peacefully on September 16, 2026, in Carrollton, Texas, at the age of 93.
He was born January 5, 1933, in Davenport, Oklahoma, to Steve and Reta Grigsby.
In 1953, he married the love of his life, Patricia (Willmon) Grigsby. Together, they shared 63 years of marriage and raised two children, Debbie and Kevin. Dick also served two years in the Army, which took him to Germany.
Dick is survived by his daughter, son and daughter-in-law, two grandsons and their wives, two greatgrandchildren, his sister and brother-in-law, two nieces and their husbands, two nephews, another nephew and his wife, his sister-in-law and many other extended family members and dear friends.
Dick was preceded in death by his beloved wife, his parents, in-laws, his brother and his wife, a brotherin-law and a nephew. A funeral was held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Moore, Oklahoma and interment followed at Davenport Cemetery.
