Week of March 29-April 4
Carney and drove home two in the win over Liberty. Charlie Adams was 2-for-2 with four RBI.
The Lady Bulldogs bashed a dozen singles against Dewar and turned them into a 4-1 win. Ray, Gabby Murfin and Autumn Gaylord had two hits each.
Davenport trailed, 6-1, against Moss but put across eight runs in the sixth to get the win. Murfin had three singles, Ray had two singles and a double and Stancell had a double and single.
Murfin, Miller, Ray and Gaylord had two hits each combined for eight of the team’s nine hits against Preston.
For the week: 4-0. Wins over Depew (9-3 and 17-9), Mulhall-Orlando (10-0) and Wellston (8-0). Record: 8-1, ranked No. 13 in Class B.
The Lady Bulldogs had a rotating cast of offensive stars last week.
Sara Kirkpatrick was 7-for-9 for the week and 3-for-4 with a single, double and triple and three RBI against Depew in the first of two games on Monday Emmalynn Drake took over in the nightcap, bashing two home runs and driving in four runs.
Against Mulhall-Orlando, Ashtyn Stokes had a triple and home run and five RBI.
Macy Hubach, Gracie Hernandez, Stokes and Alexa Ward each had two knocks in the first game against Depew.
In the second game, Stokes, Hernandez and Summer Keller had doubles and Ventris and Kirkpatrick had triples.
Bre Neal and Hernandez had doubles in the game against Mulhall-Orlando.
Chandler
For the week: 1-1. Win over Wellston (16-0). Loss to Perkins (23-8). Record: 8-7. Ranked No. 9 in Class 5A.
Centerfielder Brenlee Corea had a triple, three singles and four RBI in the win over Wellston on Tuesday.
Ruthie Capps went 3-for-4 and Rylee Capps was 2-for-2 and scored three runs. Elli Hilgenfeld had a pair of RBI and Madison Cagle and Corea each scored two runs.
Dale
For the week: 8-0. Wins over Washington (19-14), Lexington (15-0), Coalgate (12-2), Guthrie (12-2), Prague (9-0), Plainview (15-0), Konawa (17-3), Elgin (14-3). Record: 17-1. Ranked No. 1 in Class 4A.
The Lady Pirates went on a 22-hit spree and Kelbey Welcher launched three home runs in the win over Washington.
Welcher drove in six runs, Brooke Sheline and Daley Lang had home runs and Boo Herber, Holland Herring and Kinley Patten had doubles. Maycee Welchel was 4-for-5 and Salem Flatt was 3-for-4.
Holland Herring muscled up for a homer, triple and four RBI against Lexington. Patten added a triple and Herber, Breeze Higdon, Sheline, Kelbey Welchel and Reese Herring had two-baggers.
Against Coalgate, it was a home run derby, with Herber, Daley Lang, Kelbey Welcher and Maycee Welcher going deep.
Lang was big at the plate against Guthrie, doubling and driving in three runs. Patten had four RBI, Holland Herring had three RBI and a triple and Maycee Welchel and Kelbey Welchel each had a double.
Kelbey Welcher had a pair of homers and three RBI to pace the win over Plainview. Herber had three RBI and Patten and Maxtyn Motley each had a double.
Patten came back with a pair of homers against Konawa and drove in six runs. Reese Herring was 3-for-3 with two RBI, Kelbey Welcher had two doubles and an RBI and Herber was 2-for-2 with three RBI.
Patten poled two homers and had five RBI in the uncharacteristically close game against Elgin.
Kelbey Welcher and Reese Herring also went yard and Holland Herring, Maycee Welcher and Reese Herring also doubled.
Davenport
For the week: 5-2. Wins over Depew (6-1 and 4-3), Liberty (17-0), Dewar (4-1) and Moss (9-6). Losses to Bethel (3-2) and Preston (9-4). Record: 10-11. Ranked No. 14 in Class A.
Nevah Ray was a thorn in the side for Depew on Thursday.
She doubled twice and drove in three runs in the first game - a 6-1 Davenport win - and sparked a two-run rally in the bottom of the third to key a 4-3 win in the second game.
She singled, allowing Landry Miller score on a throw, and then came home herself with what proved to be the winning run on a sacrifice fly by Lila Stancell.

For the week: 7-2. Wins over Henryetta (15-5), Deer Creek (13-1), Seminole (33-2), Meeker (12-0), Norman North (31-4), Tecumseh (7-4) and Lexington (10-0). Losses to Mustang (13-0) and Silo (9-7). Record 18-9. Ranked No. 5 in Class 5A.
The Lady Redskins had a strong week, going 7-2 and scoring more than 30 runs in two games.
Against Seminole, McLoud burst out with a 37-hit explosion.
Miley Hicklin led the hit parade with five hits, including a triple and three doubles to go along with four RBI.
Kayse Higdon had four hits, including a homer, triple and two singles and drove in 4 four runs.
Ava Ashley had a homer, a double and two singles and drove in three runs.
Ley Patterson bashed three doubles and drove in three runs, Makenzie Lane had four singles and scored four times and Macen Fixico had a triple, double and two singles to go along with two RBI.
Avery Soward, Jaylin Robles, Jasci Schafer and Taycee Lewis all had doubles.
It was a similar scenario against Norman North, as the Lady Redskins hit a dozen doubles and 29 hits total.
Hicklin had three of the doubles while Soward, Higdon and Lewis had two each. Schafer, Patterson and Fixico had one each.
Lewis finished with four RBI and Higdon scored four runs.
Against Meeker on Tuesday, Robles, Patterson and Lewis went yard and Shafer had three hits.
Meeker
For the week: 2-5. Wins over Seminole (3-2) and Crowder (9-1). Losses to Bethel (12-0), McLoud (11-0), Porum (5-1), Preston (12-0) and Moss (12-2). Record: 3-11.
Meadow Spencer hit a three-run homer in the fourth inning to help the Lady Bulldogs to 8-1 win over Crowder.
Meeker was up 6-0 with Raygin Thomas and Kennedy Harris on base when Spencer hit her two-out inside-thepark homer to right field.
Thomas had three hits on the day while Hazel Wahpepah, Layla Carter and Brinkleigh Stinger had two each.
Harris had a triple and a single in Meeker’s win over Seminole on Tuesday. Ryean Weaver tripled and Carter added a double.
North Rock Creek
For the week: 4-3. Wins over Little Axe (12-0), Lexington (12-0), Hinton (9-1), Minco(14-4). Losses to Ft. Gibson 911-3), Red Oak (18-2) and Oktaha (15-1). Record: 7-10. Ranked No. 13 in Class 5A.
Ashlyn Bade hit a home run and single, scored three times and drove in three runs to lead the Lady Cougars’ offense against Lexington. Izzy O’Daniel, Kassidy Streber and Madison Benson all had doubles.
Streber and Aubree Shivelhood homered in the win over Hinton and Aspyn Harder doubled. Shivelhood was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate and had three RBI.
NRC crashed 17 hits in the win against Minco, with Morgan Bertram and Jaden Clifton had three each and O’Daniel drove in three runs.
Wellston
For the week: 1-2. Win over Coyle (6-1). Loses to Chandler (16-0) and Carney (8-0). Record: 2-4.
Brooklyn Estes went 7-for-8 for the week and was 4-for-4 in the Lady Tigers’ win over Coyle on Monday.
Autrey McConnell, Chloe Brewer, Kirby McConnell and Tinley Payne each had two hits in the game, and Kirby McConnell and Paige Keeling each had a double.
Prague
For the week: 2-1. Win over Cushing (10-0). Losses to Latta (18-16) and Dale (9-0). Record: 8-4 .Ranked No 13 in Class 4A Shortstop Ainsley Auld homered, singled and drove in three runs to lead Prague past Cushing on Thursday. Emma Hinkle and Jaylee Oldham tripled and Kacey Cantrell and Keira Carter doubled.
Stroud
For the week: 2-3. Wins over Western Heights (14-4) and Okemah (12-0). Losses to Cushing(15-5), Kellyville (8-4) and Bethel (9-8). Record (11-9).
Miyah Clark muscled up for the Lady Tigers, launching three home runs for the week and helping the team to wins over Western Heights and Okemah.
She had two homers on Monday, getting one against Western Heights and another against Okemah. Her third came on Thursday against Bethel.
Carlee Williams also homered against Okemah and was 3-for-4 on the day.
