A Wellston woman appeared before Judge Emily Mueller for pre-preliminary hearing on April 23 over four counts, according to court documents.
A bench warrant was issued for a Rebecca Lee Alley of Wellston, 36, on April 1 for one felony count of first-degree arson, two felony counts of third-degree arson and one misdemeanor count of malicious injury to property under $1,000, by District Attorney Adam Panter.
According to court documents, the charges are related to an incident that occurred on or around Feb. 16, during which property belonging to someone else was set on fire.
Panter filed supplemental information that reported that Alley was previously convicted of a felony for larceny from a house on June 12, 2018, as well as a felony for assault and battery on a police officer on Nov. 6, 2008.
