Andrew Sokol, Jr. was born February 9, 1941, in Nemacolin, Pennsylvania, to Andrew Sr. and Elda (Fortney) Sokol. He passed away on May 15, 2026, in his home in Wellston at the age of 85.
Andrew served his country proudly in the United States Army, playing bass horn in their band. Andy was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and his daughter. Survivors include his wife, daughter, three granddaughters, a great-granddaughter, and other family and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the First Baptist Church in Wellston. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
