Walter “Ellis” Aldridge was born July 23, 1939, in Okay, Oklahoma, to L.L. and Georgie Glee (Austin) Aldridge.
He passed away July 21, 2026, two days before his 87th birthday.
Ellis grew up in Wagoner, Oklahoma, and married Doris (Marsellis) in Tulsa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, three children, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, along with other family and friends.
A funeral was held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 27, 2026, at the Edmond Church of Christ, and interment followed in the Wellston Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
