A McLoud man was injured last week in a Grady County traffic collision and he was one of three occupants ejected from the vehicle, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
State Trooper Rusty Russell reported the collision occurred shortly after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18, on County Road 2790, .5 south of U.S. 62, 4 miles east of Verden in Grady County.
Devin Remy, 22, of McLoud, was transported by Anadarko EMS to Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha and reportedly admitted in good condition with arm, trunk external and leg injuries.
He was one of two passengers in a 2010 GMC Sierra driven by Dalton W Alcorn, 23, Alex, OK.
Troopers said Alcorn was transported by Survival Flight to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
He was admitted in critical condition with head injuries.
The trooper identified the other passenger as Traylen V Anderson, 22, of Bradley, OK. He was transported by Survival Flight to OU Medical, in Oklahoma City and admitted in serious condition with head, arm, trunk internal, trunk external and leg injuries.
Russell said the GMC Sierra was southbound on CR 2790 at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle hit a dip in the roadway and lost control. The vehicle left the roadway to the left and rolled multiple times ejecting all three occupants.
The trooper said the condition of Alcorn at the time of the collision was odor of alcohol and he listed the cause of the collision as unsafe speed for type of roadway.
Seat belts were equipped, but not in use, Russell reported.
Assisting Russell, who is of the Grady County detachment of Troop G, were Trooper Russell Boswell of Troop G, the Chickasha Fire Department, Verden Fire Department, Anadarko EMS, and Chickasha EMS.
