Quilts of Valor at Mammoth Baptist

    Quilts of Valor at Mammoth Baptist

    The Quilts of Valor Foundation presented quilts to 14 veterans Saturday at Mammoth Baptist Church, west of Meeker.

    The foundation was organized in 2003 by Blue Star mother Catherine Roberts and has a mission of covering veterans touched by war with comforting and healing quilts of valor.

    Those presented quilts on Saturday included:

    - Clyde Barnard

    - Joseph “Joe” Bouse

    - Cliff Harrison

    - Kateri Peeler

    - Sam Helmick

    - Melissa Brooks Helmick

    - Bryant Turnageh

    - Harold “Joey” Jones

    - Mikaerl Caldwell
