Joan Helen Butler, 79, a resident of Prague, Oklahoma died peacefully at her home on June 19, 2026. Joan was born on October 13, 1946 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Joe Cevis TaylorandLethaLouise Story-Taylor.
Joan served our country faithfully for three years in the United States Navy where she met her future husband. She married Robert John “Johnny” Butler on May 26, 1967. Joan was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 53 years. She is survived by her brother, his wife, their son, a daughter and her husband, a son and his wife, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
