Chandler High School lady Lions softball played two games last Thursday, August 29, getting one win and one loss on the day. First up for Chandler was a strong team from Holdenville. The Lady Lions struggled to get an offense going and were defeated by Holdenville 8 to 0. Malory Lowery had a single in the second inning but was unable to reach home plate. Julian Fowler also had a hit for the Lady Lions. Amanda Factor was in the pitcher’s circle for Holdenville. She went five innings and allowed no runs on two hits, striking out three and walking one. Grace Hulsey was the pitcher for Chandler. She went five innings, allowing eight hits and eight runs while striking out three.
