The 2026 Red Dirt Rivalry Disc Golf Tournament took place last Saturday (April 25) atThe Nest and EagleValley Disc Golf courses at Stroud Lake. The tournament was a PDGA-sanctioned event with over 100 players showing up to compete from all over.

The 2025 Kolache Festival Royalty and 2026 candidates were recognized on the Floor at the State Capitol on Tuesday in the run-up to the annual festival set to take place in Prague on May 2. The festival, which as been running for 70 years, honors the Czechoslovakian heritage of the town’s first settlers. It draws thousands of visitors with traditional food and music. Sheriff’s office responds to death in Sparks

A body was found at a residence near Sparks on April 15, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.LCSO reported on Wednesday that they got a call around 7:18 a.m. from a man who said that his brother was dead and his mother wouldn’t wake up.
