Lincoln County graduates from UCO

The University of Central Oklahoma announced its Fall 2025 graduates. A total of 1,068 students will take part in the fall commencement. The ceremony will take place on Dec. 12 to 13 at the Hamilton Field House.

Arrests in grow house burglary

Bad news ticks hiding in the cedars

Lincoln County commissioners this week opened six month bids on various items, then voted to table action until their meeting on Dec. 19.They adopted a resolution accepting a $5,000 donation from Randy Bowen for the Sheriff’s Office.

Dale Board of Education meeting

Dale Board of Education members this week rehired School Supt. Will Jones and approved stipends for staff.After spending some time in executive session, board members returned to open meeting. Board member Robin Wiley Greene said the board hired Jones back and extended his contract for another year.

Demos to meet

The next meeting of the Lincoln County Democratic Party will be Thursday December 11 at the Chandler Public Library. The meeting will start at 6:00PM; doors open and refreshments at 5:30. Our guest speaker will be Dr Kelly Forbes, Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor.
