Starting back with hoops

Despite COVID-19, a few area high school teams were able to get in extra games over the holiday break. North Rock Creek’s No. 15 boys team picked up a couple of wins, including 46-44 win over Crooked Oak on a lastsecond bucket by Diego Garcia.

Charges in gun-related case

A Sparks man faces two felony charges and he has at least two prior convictions. A Wellston resident also has been charged with a felony, and court records show he has five previous convictions for felonies. A bench warrant has been issued for his arrest.

A Stroud woman faces a dozen felonies after an assortment of drugs were found in her possession in a Lincoln County jail cell, authorities report.
