Brannon girls chosen as Lions of the Month

Smith couple celebrates milestone anniversary

Homer and Sue Smith of Chandler will celebrate their Diamond Anniversary recognizing 60 years of marriage. Friends and family are invited to a come-and-go reception 3-6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Chandler Senior Citizens Center.

County Jr. cattle breeder honored

Hutson Calavan of Agra is a new junior member of the American Angus Association, which is headquartered in St. Joseph, Mo.

Unity in our Community

Ag Recycling event planned

The OSU Extension will sponsor a Pesticide Container Recycling Event 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 7, in two locations. Acceptable items can be brought to the Lincoln County Agri-Civic Center in Chandler or Cantrell Ag at 106240 S. 3560 Road in Prague. Acceptable items include 1, 2.
