Football starts!

Local high school football teams got their first day of full-pad practices on Friday and got in some of their traditional scrimmages over the weekend.

Randall second at Stroud meet

Meeker sophomore Riley Randall ran an 11:10 at the Stroud Cross Country meet on Saturday, taking second place. An All-Stater last year as a freshman, Randall finished among a pack of runners from Lincoln Christian, which had the first-, third- and fourthplace finishers.

After months of wondering, the long awaited answer has arrived. The Friday night lights will be turned on and football will be played. With the COVID-19 virus, concerns have been raised regarding masks, social distancing and any new precautionary procedures.

NRC golf at Seminole

North Rock Creek’s middle school golf team of Maddox Munn, Keifer Landes and Jet Smith carded a team score of 349 Monday in the Seminole tournament.

Randall wins at McAlester

Zoe Kate Randall competed as a Level 4 gymnast in the MEGA Meet on March 7th in McAlester, OK. Zoe tied for 2nd place in the Level 4 All-Around, with first place finishes on vault and bars. Zoe is on the Rising Star Gymnastics team in Shawnee, with Coach Debbie Simonson.
