Plane crash at Stroud Airport

A small plane crashed at the Stroud Municipal Airport on Saturday, with minor injuries though the aircraft was totaled, according to first responders.Stroud Fire Chief Chris Wilson said they received a call a little before noon.

Seminole State releases honor roll

Seminole State College released its fall 2025 honor roll lists on Dec. 18, with students from Lincoln and Pottawatomie counties making the lists.To make the President’s Honor Roll, students must maintain a 4.0 grade point average (GPA) while taking at least 12 credit hours of coursework.
