Members of the Prague FFA Chapter took part in various competitions last month.
The Shotgun Team competed at the DJ’s Meet Shoot Out with the boy’s team placing third overall. Team members include Cade Anderson, RJ Lyon, Aiden Auld, Jayden Mlynek, Ethan Rich, Carson Davis, Cody Knapp, Dalton Leonard, Caden Simek, Josh Ledesma and Eli Greenlee. The girl’s team finished second with team members Campbell Coffey and Audrey Bruce.
FFA Speech Team members competed at the Regional Speech Meet with the following results. Kailey Rich, second place FFA Creed; Avery Terrell, first place Ag Policy; and Mattie Rich, second place Extemporaneous will all advance to area competition. Rich also placed third in Natural Resources and fourth in Plant Science. Ady Thompson placed in FFA Creed and Tori Hale placed fourth in Animal Science.
The Prague FFA Career Development Events Teams placed well at the Central Area Contest. Results were Livestock, sixth place, Mattie Rich, Kailey Rich, Ady Thompson and Cooper Smith; Environmental Science, first place team, Avery Cantrell (5 th Individual), RJ Lyon (2 nd place) and Jayden Mlynek (6 th place); Meats, third place team was Avery Cantrell, RJ Lyon and Jayden Mlynek.
