Water couldn’t drain fast enough in the bottoms along Bell Cow Creek in Chandler following the heavy rains Monday and early Tuesday morning. The ballfields in LaGere Park were under a couple of feet of muddy water and the bar ditch along Route 66 on the west side of town backed up almost to the porches of the houses.
