The Trustees approved rescinding an amended item from the regular meeting on Feb. 20, 2024.
The item was amended to approve, subject to the Town Auditor’s approval that the town release $2.043 to the Meeker Farm and Craft Market from the Growth and Development Authority’s account by approving the mayor to sign a check written on the bank account for Growth and Development payable to Meeker Farm and Craft Market.
Following considerable discussion, the Trustees then voted to take no action to make a check payable for $2,043 to Harvest Real Estate and Asset Development. The check had been approved in the February meeting to be issued to Meeker Farm and Craft Market but Trustees want to check with the auditor and legal counsel to see if it’s possible to issue the check to Harvest Real Estate and Asset Development.
