Don Wilbur Hurst of Shawnee, Okla., was born March 30, 1935, in Warwick, Okla. He died Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at the age of 85 years.
Hurst owned Shawnee Asphalt Company and was a member of the church in Shawnee formerly known as Glad Tidings Assembly of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Elva (Ulrich) Hurst, three brothers, three sisters and his stepdaughter Lisa.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years Rosetta (Bailey) Hurst of the home; three children, Pamela Hunter of Midwest City, Okla., Sheri Williamson and husband Jerry, and David Hurst, all of Shawnee; his stepchildren, Bobby Fisk and wife Marci of Wellston, LaDonna McClellan and husband Randy of Branson; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and other family and friends.
A graveside service was held Sunday, January 31, 2021, at the Wellston Cemetery under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
