April Wellness Report

Every month, Wellness Dep. Rod Baker from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office releases the Lincoln County Recovery Report to keep residents informed of ongoing activities and programs to help with mental health recovery efforts in the county. The following is the April 2026 report.’

For the month of April, an extensive amount of time and effort has been spent assisting Lincoln County veterans and family wellness and recovery. Sheriff Kevin Garrett and Under Sheriff Brad Jackson, in recognition of those who have served, have made it a priority to be aware of early warning signs of possible relapse and regression into depression, which leads to many trauma responses. I have spent the month of April visiting, aiding, sponsoring and checking on those who struggle with mental and emotional difficulties, as well as those throughout the county recovering from addiction. We have started several home groups and support programs within Lincoln County, and strive to continue creating more.
