Chandler and Lincoln County got an up-close look at a B1 Lancer bomber last week as it wended its way from Tinker Air Force Base to Wichita, Kan. The bomber was recently retired and was on its way to National Institute for Aviation Research at Wichita State University. The tractor and trailer had to zigzag through Chandler in order to miss the parked cars, and it drew quite a crowd along the way. There were a lot of close-up videos being made on mobile phones.
