Chandler High School band takes on Nashville

The Chandler High School band was invited to play at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville through its Music City Performance Program.

The program is part of the Opry experience for visiting students, which allows them to experience performing at one of the most iconic and historic music establishments, according to a press release from the Opry. It showcases talented students from across the U.S.

The Chandler High School band was invited to perform on May 22 for about 20 minutes before attending the live radio show. On the same trip, the band had a recording session at RCA Studios, took a backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry and more.
