A felony count against a Stroud man charged with domestic assault and battery by strangulation has been dismissed eight days after it was filed, court records confirm.
The charge against Travis Jacob Simon, 29, was formally filed in Lincoln County District Court on Aug. 11. State prosecutors dismissed the charge on Aug. 19, court records show.
According to the records, on Aug. 19 the court’s order of dismissal was filed on that date.
