Charges filed in kidnapping

A Chandler man is facing a charge of kidnapping after former conviction of two or more felonies.

Micah Sean Thomason, 43, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on May 10 with that felony.

A $15,000 bench warrant was issued for him on that date and the warrant was returned and filed on May 11. He appeared before Associate District Judge Sheila Kirk on May 11 and she ordered him to return to court on May 16.

On that date, she scheduled his initial appearance for June 30 with the $15,000 bond to remain.

Thomason is accused on March 15 of this year of forcibly seizing Stephanie Gann in Chandler and confining her in Chandler without lawful authority and with the intent to cause Gann to be confined against her will.

Supplemental information filed by prosecutors shows that Thomason was previously convicted on Oct. 21, 2015 in Cleveland County District Court of possession of CDS.

He also was convicted on Sep. 9, 2015 in Lincoln County District Court of Count 1, assault with a dangerous weapon and Count 2, assault with a dangerous weapon.
