A Stroud resident faces a felony charge following his arrest in late January by Lincoln County deputies.
Jerry Willard Ashcraft, Jr., 41, 616 6th Avenue in Stroud, who has several aliases, has been charged in Lincoln County District Court with larceny of automobile, aircraft or other motor vehicle. He was formally charged on January 27, records show.
Ashcraft made his initial appearance on Jan. 28 before Special Judge Emily Mueller. A $5,000 bond has been set.
Judge Mueller ordered the defendant to return to court at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 18.
Ashcraft is accused of stealing a John Deere Gator, farm equipment, belonging to Service King Manufacturing in January.
The alleged theft reportedly occurred from a farm owned by Service King at 353997 E. 870 Road in Lincoln County.
