The Chandler Municipal Authority approved amended license and utility relocation agreements with the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority(OTA)atitsregular meeting on March 10.
CowanEngineeringtook the notes and comments previously brought forth by the CMA to the OTA, and they were able to address most of the concerns, according to Cowan Engineering rep Michael Taylor.
Following that, Robert Mullins from SRB Engineering gave an update on the water treatment plant expansion. He said that excavation was down to the subgrade, and erosion control is in place. Testing is started, and the sewer lines, backwash lines and everything that was previously in the way have been moved, Mullins said.
The CMA approved a pay app of $100,937.50 to Orr Construction for the wastewater treatment plant expansion, another pay app of $73,337.15 for McClanahan Park to W.L.McNatt and Company, and a February invoice from Halff and Associates for $2,146 for McClanahan Park.
The funds for the park are to come from Route 66 Grant funds and/or the CMA Cap Fund.
