Lincoln County commissioners this week, following an executive session, voted to pursue filing a lawsuit against Tiger Tanks Truck LLC.
District 3 County Commissioner Lee Doolen, who also is commission chairman, said the lawsuit deals with an accident and motorgrader on SH 66.
They also voted to approve what they discussed in executive session regarding Emergency Management Director Brandon Morgan.
Commissioners took no action following the executive session concerning interviewing applicants for an assistant to the Facilities manager.
In other business, commissioners: Adopted a resolution accepting the Opioid Settlement, setting up accounts and allocating the funds.
Approved an interlocal agreement with Circuit Engineering District No. 4.
Approved lease purchase extension agreements with CL Boyd for two 2020 John Deere motor graders.
Awarded a bid for $500 for the auction of a white vinyl siding house located at 727 S. 1st Ave. in Stroud.
Approved County Treasurer’s transcripts of proceedings and County deeds for the following properties: Block 86, lots 11 and 12 in Chandler; Block 27, lot 23 in Sparks; Block 8, lots 20-23 in Wellston.
Adopted a resolution and expenditure documentation form authorizing use of ARPAfunds to purchase a propane tank and fuel for the generator at the Communications Tower.
Took no action yet regarding a county owned asphalt lay down machine.
Approved an injury and illness incident report to be used by all departments.
Took no action because they couldn’t regarding Medical Marijuana businesses located too close to places of worship.
Adopted a resolution to dispose of equipment in the Election Board office.
Approved a donation for District 2. Approved a P-Card Approval form. Approved an Emergency Management Training grant.
