Lincoln County commissioners have adopted a resolution for a grant application for Sheriff’s Office funding assistance.
They also approved a grant contract with the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for counseling services at the county jail.
Their actions came during a recent special meeting.
Commissioners and WSB, an engineering firm, discussed planning for Safe Streets for All grant funding along with future grant opportunities in Lincoln County. It was for discussion purposes only with no action concerning that.
They adopted a resolution to accept a donation from Gary and Jonnie Bishop for District 2.
Commissioners adopted a Use Tax resolution to pay for the purchase of tactical vests for the District Attorney’s Task Force. They approved the purchase during their Aug. 5 meeting.
They heard a brief hazard mitigation plan update.
They also approved all transfer documents.
