Dale board gets reports

College Remediation and dropout reports were presented to the Dale School Board this week and members were given updated financial information.

Assistant High School Principal J.D. Widner advised the board there were zero dropouts in the district. He also informed them the College Remediation Report showed that of 30 students, only six needed remediation.

He told them that was based on the 2019-2020 school year which is the latest data available.

Acting School Supt. Ky Wilkins, presented a financial update showing comparisons through September of 2020 and September of 2021.

Through September of 2020, warrants totaled $907,854 and through September of this year the figure is $1,025,042, which is $117,188 more.

Actual revenue, which is local money the state cannot touch, totals $207,571 through last month this year. That is $65,133 more than the district had received through September of 2020.
